Junior Golfer of the Year 2009 was won by Jack McElroy
He was presented with the Darragh Coary Memorial Trophy for his
achievements throughout the season.
Jack holds a senior handicap from 2008
He started the year off with a handicap of 12.1.
Jack managed to get himself cut in 11 competitions throughout
the season and finished with a handicap of 6.
Another great golfer is Padhraic McGahon. He was the most improved golfer
of the year and was presented with the Darren Clarke Junior Trophy
Padhraic only got his senior handicap late in the season and
is already showing great prospects to becoming a great golfer.

Dungannon Golfer Timothy Jordan aged 15 has been selected to play in the Irish Under 16 - 8 Man Team in Holland from 13th – 16th April this year.
Timothy is currently being coached by our Golf Professional Chris Jelly. He has been coaching the Fred Daly Team which Timothy plays in over the winter months.
Timothy played in the Dungannon Borough Council Trophy competition here on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th March and managed to beat 180 playing members to the post of Best Gross coming in with a net 68.
